Do you crave bold musicals, backstage scandal, and a plot juicier than a Shakespearean love triangle in fishnets?
Then welcome to SHANGRI-LA-LA — a fabulously satirical new comedy musical inspired by true events, a real Las Vegas lawsuit against Siegfried & Roy, and the shocking silence that followed.
Set in the neon-lit heart of Las Vegas, Shangri-La-La pulls back the velvet curtain on fame, illusion, power, and “hometown justice.” A few immigrants dare to sue two world-famous magicians for misconduct behind the curtain — only to discover that in Vegas, justice wears rhinestones, smiles for the camera, and carries a grudge.
Think:
Cabaret meets The People’s Court.
Chicago with tigers.
A Chorus Line — but the line is at the courthouse.

Shangri-La-La is a daring new comedy musical inspired by true events and a real court case — a rhinestone-covered journey into the making of Siegfried & Roy’s Las Vegas legend, and the machinery of glamour, illusion, power, silence, and “hometown justice” that can hide behind the spotlight.
The show is now heading to three New York theater platforms in 2026:
Back Door to Broadway Festival — April 19, 2026.
Rogue Theater Festival, Digital Edition — July 2026.
Midtown International Theatre Festival — July 25 & 26, 2026.
This is a major opportunity to put Shangri-La-La in front of New York audiences, theater professionals, producers, and supporters who can help the show move toward a longer New York run.
But getting there takes money.
Your donation will help cover the real costs of bringing this production to New York — including rehearsal expenses, festival costs, technical needs, marketing, travel, production materials, and support for the cast, crew, writers, and creative team who have helped bring this wild musical to life.
As the composer, writer, and director, I have poured everything I have into this show. Now we need help giving Shangri-La-La its best chance to reach the next stage.
Please donate today. Every dollar helps us bring the glitter, tigers, courtroom madness, and Las Vegas revenge to New York.
